Camperoo closes the gap for 21st century skills, where schools leave off, at an accessible price point for everyone. They are based in SOMA District of San Francisco and funded by Y-Combinator and other prominent angels who have funded the likes of Uber, Classpass, and Airbnb.
Emmie Chang is the CEO / Founder of Camperoo. Previously, she started and owned a tech summer camp that still operates in Texas and created/licensed math software to help low-income kids in school districts in Texas and Michigan. She believes in a well-rounded education experience with a heavy focus on 'soft skills' as well as technical skills. Emmie holds a B.S.E.E. from Rice University and an M.B.A. from University of Texas-Austin.
