With a program customized for every camper, all activities develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills while fostering a love of learning and adventurous spirit. Above all, camp is fun.
Summer counselors are all Engineering, Computer Science, Radio, TV and Film majors, all with a passion for technology and teaching campers new skills. Classes are kept at a strict 6:1 ratio.
Now in its 14th summer, Wonder-Space offers camps across the country for 7-17 year olds with HQ in Houston, Texas. A forward-looking and fun-focused organization, Wonder-Space was launched in 2002 by 2 Rice University engineering students, Emmie and Josefa, to give boys and girls a space for fun, exploration and collaboration in tech.
At first, the price point of $719 seemed really expensive, but after my daughter came back from a week, we knew it was money well spent! She built confidence with technology and made a ton of new friends in an unforgettable experience. Definitely would recommend this camp to other parents.

My 11 year old son attended the 2D Game course this summer and absolutely loved it. He is already planning his course for next summers camp. He was able to develop his own working game and has learned enough to continue to develop it throughout the rest of the summer. Great people, great environment, fun for the kids, and highly recommended.

This camp is very expensive but my son loves it every year. This will be our 3rd year. It has gotten my son excited about computer programming and gaming programming. The staff is great and very helpful. I highly recommend the investment.
