Wonder Space Technology and Education Center Computer and Technology Camps

My 11 year old son attended the 2D Game course this summer and absolutely loved it. He is already planning his course for next summers camp. He was able to develop his own working game and has learned enough to continue to develop it throughout the rest of the summer. Great people, great environment, fun for the kids, and highly recommended.

Words of wisdom

Well worth the investment in your child's future. It is fun for them and they actually learn something useful!

This camp is very expensive but my son loves it every year. This will be our 3rd year. It has gotten my son excited about computer programming and gaming programming. The staff is great and very helpful. I highly recommend the investment.

My son has attended this camp at Concordia University for four summers and he is going again in 2014. The camp is expensive, but worth every single penny. He cannot stop talking about how much fun the camp is and how many friends he has met. He still keeps in touch with his camp friends, who are from all over Central Texas. I am impressed with how much he learns and what he produces at the camp. The counselors really connect with the kids. They work hard, but make it fun.

Words of wisdom

Consider spending the extra money for the overnight camp. My son came back from overnight the first time and told me and my husband that he couldn't wait to go to college now because he got a taste of living in the dorm and going to "school". To me, this is an important mindset for him to get into, which will guide him through high school next year. Plus, he said it was the most fun he has ever had and it was so good to meet other "people exactly like me."
